Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure successful completion.
  • Develop project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Assist
    in creating project schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies.
  • The ideal candidate should possess knowledge and experience in permitting management, which
    includes overseeing the approval of shop drawings by the building department and managing sub
    permits with subcontractors.
  • Should be well-versed in the process of managing submittals and RFIs. They should possess the
    knowledge and experience to effectively handle the submission and oversight of submittals and RFIs
    with owners and architects.
  • Extensive understanding of the drawings management process, overseeing the approved scope of
    work and identifying the scope that necessitates review by the building department.
  • Help maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and prepare regular
    progress reports.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring
    everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
  • Should have a thorough understanding of the inspection process and be capable of following
    inspections closely. This includes knowing the sequence of inspections, making proper arrangements
    for scheduling inspections, coordinating with relevant parties to ensure inspections are conducted.
  • Build and manage relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal
    team members. Coordinate meetings, gather feedback, and ensure timely and effective communication to address stakeholders’ needs and expectations.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
  • Minimum two years of prior experience in project management.
  • Preferred Professional Engineer Certification.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
